Who is this conference for?

This conference will be a great training opportunity for all child and family practitioners, child protection workers, youth justice workers, health professionals and educators. We all need to be trauma informed, FASD informed, and human rights informed if we are to prevent youth crime and youth detention. FASD (fetal alcohol spectrum disorder) is two and a half times more prevalent than autism – we just don’t recognise it. If a child can do well, they will do well. Those who are affected by trauma and/or cognitive disabilities need help and support not judgment and exclusion. At the conference in September we will hear from national and international experts, psychiatrists, paediatricians, professors, researchers, and lawyers. We will also hear from trauma counsellors and people with lived experience.

Attend for one day or two days: full fee per day $440.

Early bird fee before 30 June 2024: per day $330.

Includes morning and afternoon tea and lunch.
